Dr. Virginia
Dr. Bertucci received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from York University. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, where she graduated first in her class and was awarded the esteemed Dean’s Gold Medal. She was then selected to complete a 1-year residency through McGill University at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where she worked as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to provide a full range of dental services to children and adolescents with complex dental problems including emergencies and traumas, medical conditions necessitating hospital-based care, and special needs. To continue her education, Dr. Bertucci returned home to the University of Toronto to pursue Specialty Training in Orthodontics, alongside a Master of Science degree focused on cleft lip and palate research at the Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Bertucci continues to serve as a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto, and as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Dental Society, the Ontario Association of Orthodontics, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Bertucci is overjoyed to join the Orthodontic Studio team and care for our wonderful patients! Outside the office, you can likely find her at a local flower shop, on a nature walk, or spending time with family and friends.
